Been off the board basically since Labor Day because of work and a wedding but needed to tell a quick story on these guys:
I ordered a camo Sugarloaf x MacKenzie shoe bag on August 5th. I had a Pinehurst trip on Labor Day weekend and was hoping it would make it. It was a pre-order item so I seem to recall it said it could take up to 6 weeks so I figure it was a good shot it wouldn't make it in time. No big deal. I went on the trip and forgot about it. Late September, I realized I never got an alert that it shipped. Sent an email on September 27th, checking in on the status. Apparently, it had shipped out sometime at the end of August and just never showed up.
I was hopeful they would help me out, but I was kicking myself because it had slipped my mind and I had not followed up quicker. Once they figured out that it had long been sent, Ian at Sugarloaf sent me an email to apologize, tell me they were refunding my money, and that MacKenzie was going to send me a new bag. I then quickly got a follow up from Nic at MacKenzie, echoing the apologies and telling me they were going to send me a second bag just to make it right.
Honestly, I was blown away. That is way above and beyond anything I could have expected to remedy a shipper's error. I was always a big fan of these companies before but I am really proud to support these brands and I'm grateful for their loyalty to their customer. Unfortunately, that is becoming increasingly rare these days. Anyway, I got these two sick bags today so I just thought I should share this story with everyone and say thanks to Sugarloaf and MacKenzie!
