I say post up a swing video first, because there are two common causes for hitting up and having a positive AoA with an iron.
One could be sourced from the shoulder turn, a situation where early leg extension causes the left shoulder to rise through the ball causing handle lift can cause it.
A totally different situation can be from a flip type of motion with the hands through the ball.
The ways to fix those two things are totally different.
The first one involves too much right bend on the downswing and can be remedied by consciously bringing the left shoulder down through the ball in an effort to "feel" left lateral bend, but in actuality just reduce the amount of right bend. Granted, this tip is disastrous for someone who is a novice out to in swinger, but in this case, you should be fine.
Hand flipping through the ball is a tougher nut to crack and honestly without seeing anything, one that I don't feel comfortable giving suggestions about.
