Eddie I am absolutely CRUSHING My AD XC/Maverik set up right now. With that being said, who cares. I'm about to get on the @dphatt train and order this for the colors alone. Also, @Jaybananapantsarthur I like to see this as leaning more towards Carolina Blue than Tiffany (I'm just talking myself into it to be honest).

It looks like an October release so I will start some sort of group buy next month. They will not drop ship so all of the shafts have to come to me and then I have to ship them out separately which will be a PITA but I should have them for a pretty good price.

Revisiting this thread almost a year later because I am looking for everyone's feelings about this shaft who got on the aforementioned bandwagon and put one in play. I am torn right now between a few different GD Tour ADs, but I keep coming back to this one as my most wanted....and NOT for the graphics (although I do really like them). Insight from any of you who have it in use in your driver (or had it in use) would be appreciated.

DougE Had it in my driver when I did a fitting in January and the fitter convinced me it wasn't for me so I went to a Ping G425 and hated it outside. Got a TSI3 with Velocore Blue and love it.

TFixer5 Ventus (w/Velocore) Blue is my other choice/consideration for my TSi3 driver, but I'm actually even more interested in a Ventus Red 6S, for my TSi2 3W.

I recently installed a GD Tour AD-UT 85 S in my U500 and really love the way it feels, so am leaning towards another Tour AD for driver.

How'd the fitter convince you the GD Tour AD HD wasn't for you? Strictly numbers?

DougE Yep. He said I was "fighting" it and the numbers for the Ping were waaaaay better. Learned my lesson. I will never get fit inside again.

I love the shaft and it's my favorite AD shaft to date (I previously gamed the DI, IZ, and XC).
