Do you play the stock headcover that comes with the clubs or do you play aftermarket? Do you buy boutique brands or from your favorite course? How often do you change? What are your favorite brand headcovers?
I find myself buying way to many covers and changing when I change bags. I haven’t used a stock headcover in many years.
Aftermarket Boutique (mostly) EP Covers for putters Seamus, Winston for woods Rotate every few months
More often than not it is an aftermarket/boutique cover.... I've got a rotation from Rose and Fire, SunFish, Dormie, old school Rocket Tours, etc....
I have a heavy selection of EP Headcovers to keep my bag looking fresh. Easier to change Headcovers than it is clubs to keep it looking new and not boring. Haha
I actually use the stock head covers more often than I realize.
If it's going to be a round with precipitation, stock. If it's a round that I'll be walking, I use the stock ones as they are the lightest. If I goto the range to practice, stock.
Jan Craig and Winston.
Elliot makes some great stuff also.
Seamus for me. Waxed canvas if it is wet.
I can't tell you how many stock head covers I have in a random cubby space in the garage. I don't think I've used a stock head cover in the past decade. I buy head covers from anyone and everyone, as long as they suit my taste. As for changing out, I probably change out every week and/or round if my bag isn't left at the club. My favorite brand changes as often as the wind does. You can be the best one day then totally screw up 2-3 of my orders in a row and I'll be done with you. Too many fish in the sea to deal with terrible customer service. I'm happy to throw my money like an idiot to the next guy if he's doing it the right way.
Never game stock... mostly Cameron but sprinkle in some course covers occasionally and some other brand putter covers at times (if they match whatever I am gaming).
Seamus and Winston Collection for me.
Currently looking for a cover for the Spider that I put in the bag last week.
