The new bags have carbon legs it looks like.

dphatt I wish you would've told me I didn't need a new bag...because this stupid thing is on its way to my house. 😅

DaHOF I wish you would've told me I didn't need a new bag...because this stupid thing is on its way to my house. 😅

When everyone sent me messages saying this bag was coming out, I didn't bother because this one is 100% you bro.

Eddie I may or may not have ordered a pink double strap to go with it...

Since this has been around a while now, how is the bag holding up? Is the 4 way top too small for a full set as some of the reviews online say? I currently have a linksmaster but not getting along with the 3 way top at all. Looking at this bag thinking I may grab one over Black Friday.

LSkip if you’re do not like the top of the Linksmaster then avoid the GFORE bag. It is tiny. I think it is smaller than my Stitch SL1 top because of the dividers.

LSkip It is a small top. I bag 13 clubs. It fits, but I have club bind. I have 4 wedges in the bottom, 6 irons in the middle, and driver/5w or driver/2i along with a Spider up top. It works for me and I can deal with the bind as I have generally played with small carries and Sunday bags. The smallest part of the bag is the top slot, and by small it is almost tiny. Haven't see a top slot that small in any other stand bag set up.

If you have multiple options as far as golf bags go, and just looking to add to the stable that's one thing. If it is going to be your primary bag, you'll probably be a bit annoyed at some point. Mine is my primary at this point as I have given away my Flextech to a new golfer and can't really speak to an 18 hole experience with it yet as I have only taken it to the range.

@dphatt that’s unfortunate. I really wanted to find a minimalist type stand bag that had 4 dividers. The middle section of my linksmaster drives me insane having the irons all together. Other than that, the Linksmaster is darn near perfect.

Sun Mountain 2.5 is as close as you'll get to minimalist with normal top. Very lightweight while maintaining four way top.

I’m sure you guys know by now but the new Daytona has double straps and carbon legs. I have the original single strap and chrome plated legs. After debating for a week, I ended up pulling the trigger with the 20FOREYOU code and hopefully I can get close to an even swap when I sell the one I have already.

ckay Yep, carried mine today. It's great with the double strap and carbon legs.

DaHOF the only reason why the carbon legs is intriguing to me is I feel like the chrome plastic legs of the prior gen will chip over time. Looking forward to the dual strap for sure.
