I was pretty happy with the latest Cinco release. The cover has been one of the better ones in a year or more. The bag was great but I wonder why there wasn’t wood covers to match the bag? That has got to be a first.

I will post pics of the colorway I get next week.

dphatt I agree that it was a great release but it could have been even better with the matching wood & putter covers. Covers done up in that full serape print with Scotty Cameron in the font that is on the bag would have been slick.

dphatt Cinco release was filthy! Agree the cover is the best in a year or more. The new font used on the bag is a nice touch as well. Can’t wait for mail day 👊🏻

Are we talking about the Cinco De Johnny cover? I feel like everyone else in the industry is lapping Cameron when it comes to designs and creativity over the last couple years especially.

Can I be honest? I think the new release stuff was all crap. I love Scotty stuff, like we all do, but the recent stuff is rough.

Had the JS 009 carbon in my cart from today’s release and whiffed. Been looking for an old school stamping with a topline and it reminded me of my first 009. Hopefully a twin is released next week.

Do they make the putters in pair?

magpies usually yes for the gallery releases. There might be subtle differences but it’s pretty much the same putter

dphatt yes that is what i noticed as well. Was at the museum gallery tokyo. I saw a block of steel milled to 2 putters. So i assume that putters are usually made in pairs and stamp somewhat the same. Since they come from the same block of metal.

magpies From what I see, mostly true. One will be like a top line or sight dot...Other will be flange line. Same stamps however.

Eddie Yeah I know. Just so clean and simple, and a throwback to the OG 009 days. Not a fan of the “artistic” stamps. I remember in Nov/Dec 2018 every week a new JJ/JS was being released.

I think I’ll remain patient for a Titleist script or a jumbo 009, but if another JS pops up I doubt I can avoid it. It’ll be the perfect beater.

Unless a clean chromatic pops up I’m most certain it’ll be a carbon.
