CLTGamecock Typically if you are talking a $150-200 bottle at MSRP, that is going to be a bottle not easily attainable on the market (as it is likely selling for 2-3 x that on the secondary market). With that being said, MAYBE you can find yourself an EC18 or Michter's 10 depending on your area and your ability to check a bunch of random liquor stores. Those both would fall in that price range and are solid bourbons.

DaHOF Agree with J here. Although I've never had EC18 its appearing more often now and M10 as well. Even with a mark up on M10 I think you can usually find it for $200 and it is delicious. The rye is good as well. I'm not a fan of Whistle Pig but many people are and a lot of there bottles are in that range and can be easy to acquire. Otherwise just try and snag a Weller 12 and Elmer T lee for under $200 and you'll be solid lol

@DaHOF I've also never had the Kentucky Owl Confiscated but K&L has a ton of it at $100. I think I've seen a photo in your bunker, is it any good? That could be a good snag as I'm a fan of their early batch Ryes

Moni_SLO That's a good point. @CLTGamecock could probably find a KO Confiscated at his local Costco perhaps. I did buy one to give a try, but have yet to open it. I'm on this weird thing where I refuse to open a bottle until I finish one and I currently have about 15-20 opened bottles of bourbon/rye/scotch at the bar. Also, it doesn't help if I find something I like or want to try at a decent price I buy and put in the bunker.

Moni_SLO nothing to scoff at! I've been looking out for that Early Times but have yet to find a bottle. Man that takes me back to high school....

A buddy of mine from Kentucky sent that one to me.

BirdiesandBourbon I love Early Times (and Jim Beam) but just haven't seen that new new released out in CA yet. Admittedly my hunting days have taken a big back seat this past year as it is just too exhausting and I have too much to drink as it is.....just need the homies help!

Moni_SLO unfortunately it’s not in FL yet either. Killed a bottle in GA around Christmas and wish I would have brought some home!
