Bringing this thread back to life. Anyone have anything new/different lately that we should be on the lookout for?

Putterho It's delicious (dropped in CA a few weeks ago) but not $400 delicious. My guess is it wins whiskey of the year because for the retail price it's one of the best pours out there. They could probably charge $99 and it would be well worth it.

Haven't tried the Willett x Blackened yet but hearing mixed reviews on that. This years Michter's Toasted Bourbon is just starting to drop and that one is always delicious (albeit still just way too low proof for my liking). If you have a chance to track down any Nulu toasted bourbons or rye's, I highly recommend them. Good Times is also doing some cool finishes. I've got a toasted bourbon that is finished in honey barrels for a few weeks/months. Smells like straight caramel. Palate leaves a little to be desired but it is tasty for sure!

Moni_SLO yea I’m sure it’s not cheap. There was no pricing put in the email just to email the director of all things bar and kitchen. Honestly if it wasn’t in the busiest time of year for me work wise I prob would tag along. Would be an awesome time and maybe I’d learn how to enjoy bourbon.

Noyes26 that is one hell of an itinerary. I've done two bourbon tour trips and hit Keenland on the last day that have been fun, but not to this level. Damn.

That Bourbon itinerary is insane ........ I assume I missed playing Valhalla that had to be in that lineup!

Noyes26 what a lineup! Truly an epic itinerary!! Hopefully heaven hill will be back open for them they were closed a couple weeks ago when I was up there.

BirdiesandBourbon They have to get the Union negotiation over with so the strike ends. It isn't being handled by HH very well. A lot of liquor stores I know of have pulled HH products from their shelves until things are resolved. Sounds like some of the other big distilleries are watching it very closely to ensure this doesn't happen when their own Union agreements expire....
