Hmm I will hold off on 790s until these come out because they’ll be super cheap! They both look great, the 760 will be damn perfect. Looks like I’ll be doing an iron fitting for 2021 because I’m jumping on the tech bandwagon.

Expected ship date for P770 custom is now 10/26. It might be the end of November by the time these get released. Did TaylorMade just not make enough or are they just selling out that quickly?

dphatt I wonder if it is really more a matter of them selling very quickly and TM just putting a date of 10/26 on it, but in reality they will likely be delivered in September. Under promise, over deliver.

I wouldn't be surprised if this were the case, club companies are getting blasted by retail stores and customers for custom orders showing up after promised date. I see this fury every time I visit my local golf shop, angry customers left and right.

Any P770 reviews at this point?

Also, I currently play Super Peening Blue. How does the Modus 130 compare? I have an E-mail out to my SPB source to see if he has any 4-PW laying around, but I would love to stay with a stock shaft offering. I could always go back to DG but trying to avoid a shaft upcharge.

I just ordered mine. Full 770s 1* weak, except the 9 which I went .5* weak on Modus 130x. I have an expected date of 12/3 it looks like.

Would love to hear from someone going from P790's to P770's. It took me a good bit to get dialed in with distances. After 3 seasons now of P790's, how hard would it be to go to the cleaner looking 770's....

So I am working on a long-term review for the 770s, hopefully will be done by next week. We like to take our time for reviews so we can let things really soak in, and not report based on a honeymoon period.

I'll say this. I've been looking for things to not like about the 770s, and I love to nitpick, but I haven't found a single thing I don't like about them.

Review should be up by end of next week.

Eddie Going to Tour Spec next weekend in SD for a fitting and can't wait to try these. I've been a TM guy my last 3 sets and hoping I hit these (or the 790s) well! Now to just figure out what shafts I should actually be playing....first fitting so I'm stoked.

Also need to figure out how to actually hit the ball consistently lol
