Today I asked the girl on hole 4 for a transfusion. She said "how do you make that?" My response "So, give me the IPA."
DaHOF I asked at Dismal River with cart girl. “Whoa are you ok? You need a doctor”. She thought I was requesting a blood transfusion...at 9am on the 12th fairway. Bar made one later saying of course she knew it...with grapefruit juice. Big letdown.
DaHOF the only proper response when they don’t know what ur talking about

pro move for sure. Disaster averted.
PureStickGolf Typically my go to move at a bar if I'm in a mood and order an old fashioned instead of just a straight drink. Another trick I usually pull is "How good are you at making a _____" If they hesitate for even a second I'm ordering a beer. I used to bartend, if you can't answer that simple question off the top of your head, you probably can't make a decent drink that doesn't involve vodka and orange juice.
The real question is.....as someone that has only ever had gingerale in their transfusion....do people prefer that or sprite? or is sprite the go to and i've been doing it wrong this entire time.....

You could always try Sprite Ginger and get both worlds.
Moni_SLO NO NO NO. Sprite is not acceptable for a transfusion. I feel very strongly about this, haha.
DaHOF Ok nice to know I'm not shitting the bed on that front!
DaHOF During a match, an actual tournament match, you got all this shit together and took a picture, mid round.
You, Heelz, are the legend.
bigjohntripod It got me going on the back. Had one double and shot a smooth +2 on the back 9. I rarely drink when I play nowadays, but today it was the right call, haha.
