hey eddie, im interested in your thoughts about the U505 vs U500. are you using both in the manner you stated a previous post or has one just taken cover for both functions?

raywutang

As of now yes. The ball flight on the u505 is noticeably higher for me, but I have the smoke 90 in the 500 and the smoke 80 in the 505 so I attribute some of that difference in height due to that.

I do like the 505 because I feel like I don’t have to fight getting plenty of height out of it, especially when from the light rough where balls with the 500 would come out too hot.

Eddie incredible WITB! Love the timeless. I’ve revamped my entire bag will post it once my custom irons come in. Again, incredible set up and shows the amount of time and passion put into creating it 👌🏽

So the cold weather has my head thinking of stupid ideas, here’s another one.

im a huge fan of the 300 mini driver, and while we were discussing it, the joke of “the only thing more forgiving than a 300cc head at 43” is a 460cc head at 43”.”

Well here it is, extra weights to get the SW right.

the Sim 1 is aesthetically my favorite driver of all time, but being really fade biased, even if I crank up the loft/ close it, I can hit it straight.

so here is the not so mini mini driver 🤣

I don’t know when I will get on a course to play it, but it’s ready.

Eddie you only needed to add one weight and no lead tape? This is promising - looking forward to your results!

Eddie Interested to see where this goes. I've had decent success with a 14° SLDR in a similar experiment, but it ended up being a bit of a one-trick pony for me.

Jk. I see tape on the toe, didn't notice it on my phone. Oops.

one of the weights is lighter than standard, so two standard weights could easily do the trick. The lead tape is there just to deaden the sound a touch.

First time hitting balls since November,

Sim max tour head at 17 degrees and 57 degrees loft is pretty solid.

But man do my iron shafts feel really foreign. I've made some swing changes with a stronger grip and more pronation in the lead arm to reduce tension on my elbow, and the results are really promising, from a speed and pain stand point, also reducing pelvic tilt. But the c taper lite shafts feel really light now. So might have to go to the drawing board on irons, or start with going heavier swing weight.

Apex UW in 19 is solid, but the HZRDUS 70 stock shaft feels way too light.

warm up swing, feels like less effort more body use. Pretty happy for first range session of the year. more body rotation, feels comfortable, backswing is shorter, less unnecessary arm movement. The right shoulder is getting more room to get through the ball and not jam me up, still have a long ways to get to really clearing it well, I can do it fine on 3/4 wedges, just need to practice getting it done with all the clubs, but seeing how little I'll play this year, I'm happy with this.

pfdz I am the cheapest person you will meet when it comes to apparel and shoes 🤣

Eddie haha I was commenting on your laziness to tie them bad boys

So I went on a Monday morning, and they were closed for ball picking. It's been so long that I assumed the old schedule was the same, lol. They do ball picking Monday and Wednesday now apparently, and I heard some interesting news from management about how they are changing things up, might have to drop my range card thing soon.

Eddie f my life. I think I have like $100+ left on my card. Text me what those jokers are planning to do 🤦‍♂️

So the apex uw continues to impress me with its ability to hit shots from questionable spots.

the sim max your issue 3 wood produced some mixed results, might go back to the 300 mini since the apex uw is so good.

the p770s may have seen their last round, the heads are good but the c taper lites in them feel way too light now, now that my arm is healed and my unloading sequence on the downswing has changed.

question is do I play the black p790s or copper…
