Went out to check on the progress of our land tonight. Concrete got poured last week and studs are going up next!

My wife is a realtor and borrowed her bosses DJI Mavik Air 2. First time flying it, but it was extremely easy to use (I was an amazing pilot in Battleifled on Xbox so I chalk it up to that, LOL).

It got me thinking...but... I don’t have access to really and good courses in rural Mn. I’d love to take a few trips to some cool courses and get cool shots for fun. I know there's already a handful of people who do that professionally like The Fried Egg and Links Gems.

Anyone fly drones for fun? Or have cool pics you/someone else has taken at your club?

Check your local laws and if golf courses are cool with it. It is a liability most people don’t want as a municipality or on private property.

My buddy has a big DJI and being in NYC cannot fly it without a permit. He is in TV so he does use it for some creatives to add to his portfolio of work. I think for him the novelty wore very quickly. Someplace more rural where the laws aren’t strict I could see it being fun.
