I’ll leave the bourbon experts to talk Bourbon, I love searching for reasonably priced wines that out punch their price tags. I’m just going to keep posting varietals I enjoy. Feel free to share your favorites as well.

The Chardonnay I’ve been enjoying a lot is the apron Swift Mannequin. At <$50, it’s reasonably priced.

It’s not too sweet, has a bright profile, and love drinking this first to warm up the palette for subsequent reds.

I had a 2017 Pine Ridge Petit Verdot the other night (I'm typically a very big/bold Cab guy), and was blown away by the flavors on it. I highly recommend a bottle if you see it or order through their site. I joined their wine club last time I was in Napa and love most, if not all of their offerings in the red varietals (I'm not a big white wine guy).

Eddie I have found subtle differences in their Cabs from different years/vintages, but I do not know on this particular one. I did just order a couple of the 2012 varietal from them this week, so I will let you know if I notice a "big" difference between that and the 2017 (other than the obvious aging). Definitely let me know what you think on the 2014!

Eddie I made a comment earlier I don't care for white wines, but for a crisp and refreshing white at a VERY reasonable price, I highly recommend this Italian White. It's a 2018 Terlan Pinot Bianco. Great wine for some UFC fights, haha.

My new routine is to start with a white wine then go straight to whiskeys, because for me, I sense more of the flavor profiles of the whiskeys I drink that way.
