Jaybananapantsarthur I like Joe Buck for other sports but wasn’t his biggest fan for golf coverage. I did like some of the production stuff Fox did though.
I wish we could get SVP on some NBC broadcasts.
I thought Shane Bacon did a good job, and I appreciated how Fox got better each year/event...whereas NBC and whatnot just keep spitting out the same garbage over and over
JB ruins everything for me. Don't know what it is but I find him unbearable. Some of the drone stuff was innovative while leaving mics open and Sonders/Normal not so much. Always felt more fumbled than efficient. Glad it's all over.
I am glad it is going back to NBC but with the Golf Channel layoffs looming will that hurt their coverage? I thought FOX was terrible but I did like how they tried to introduce different ways to get the viewer engaged with the coverage. Some things were good or bad but at least it wasn’t the same old coverage you can see from the John Deere.
