So long story short, I used to smash the driver when I was younger and then I didn’t. I was full of confidence on every tee box and just absolutely gung ho with driver. Then I wasn’t able to play as often and lost all confidence on the tee box. As a result, I moved to a driver with a much shorter shaft (43.5”). Nowadays, I’m back to being more confident on the tee but I’m worried I’m leaving a lot of yards on the table going with a shorter length shaft.
So the question is, how many yards am I leaving on the table with a 43.5” shaft vs 45”?
I guess I should also note that I wasn’t fit into this driver, it was just an eBay purchase when I was going through issues that has stuck in my bag for a few years. I’m also not sure if the original owner just stuck a 3W shaft in the driver head or not but I don’t think it’s the “correct” swing weight.
For what it’s worth, current is a 910D2 10.5*, Tour Ad-Di 6s shaft.
