I was reading about Old Chatham this morning after Chickenman and JWoww mentioned it the other day and it got me thinking about clubhouses. I'll be hitting one of faves this weekend. Mine are, in no particular order:
TFixer5 Great thread idea. @TB3GOLF hosted me at Old Chatham with a couple NHL legends last year. Quite humbling when a guy hits hybrid past a drive you felt like you flushed.
TFixer5 OC locker room is seriously underrated
Morfontaine
Golfingfanatic Couldn't find a whole lot of pics of the clubhouse, but course looks beautiful and I dig the logo.
TFixer5 It's a pretty special place. Was lucky enough to play a round last year.
Golfingfanatic Gorgeous! Patio reminds me a little of St. Andrews.
Oakmont Winged Foot
I have so many top tier clubs around me in NY but haven’t been to any. Most memorable clubhouse for me is King Kamehameha.
Due Process Stable & Club (played) Shinnecock (have not played)
Private breakfast in the member's locker area at Ocean Forest for me.
Butler National from the outside is nothing memorable (Although the drive up is cool and familiar with another presitougus club)...but the inside is pretty neat. Private breakfast was very good and filling before you go get beat up on the course.
Medinah was very cool for the history.
ForeLeft Nice. Have you been to Interlachen in Edina? Chicago has some great clubhouses at some of their old courses. Olympia Fields is top 10.
TFixer5 Not yet. I drove by it a handful of times when I worked in Edina but never played. Have some invites...just trying to find Time to get down there. Planning a Spring Hill/Interlachen/Hazeltine trip this fall.
ForeLeft One of my favorite pics.
