This is supposed to happen today but the forecast might not cooperating. Jasmine will be playing from her normal 6300-6400 yardage while I will be at 6800-6900. I haven’t played in a few days and this course doesn’t have their range open on Mondays so this will be interesting.

This round is not even worth a recap. We both played some ugly shots. The last hole was a par 5. We both hit great drives. Jasmine laid up first and I went for the green. I had a 25 foot putt for eagle. Jasmine had about 70 yards and she hits it to an inch for a tap in birdie. I two and tie her.

It was a pillow fight all day. We were both exchanging bad shots. It’s a round where we both agreed to burn the scorecard.

So today we played and Jasmine lights it up again going -6 through 14 and ends at -6 that should have been a -8 or -9. I shoot a pedestrian +2 that felt like an 80.

She hit some damn good shot around the green today. One bunker shot that she said she would try to hole stopped right on the lip.

I have another round with her tomorrow at my course so let’s see how she plays on a course she doesn’t know while I know it well.

Wish me luck bc I will need it the way she is playing right now.

I think I finally found a setup that she doesn’t really like. The course was setup a little firm and there was some wind which made it difficult for her to stop the ball at spots where she was accustomed to. It is amazing how she is super dialed in on her yardages. She knows exactly where it is going to land on nearly every shot. This is a video of her third shot on a par 5. She said she thought it would have stopped pretty close to the hole but you could see it run away from her. She got pretty frustrated today as her driver was off but she still hit 90% of her fairways. She played from one up while I played from the back.

Another round in the books and she goes low yet again. Her game getting better and better while mine is getting progressively worse. I had three lost balls and I have really no confidence when I stand over the golf ball. Maybe it’s too much playing but I need get this turned around as I have A team matches this weekend.

She's an elite golfer by any measure, winning on the LPGA Tour more than once. As you played more times she was bound to get the better of you more often, especially after getting over the whole "playing for women everywhere" pressure that invariably comes from a match against a guy.

There’s nothing you can do when a player shoots -6. Unless you’re going to shoot -7. She’s a world class golfer who expects to go -6 every time she tees it up.
