So historically I've been an amazing wedge player. Like really good. I don't get that much time to practice anymore, and lately inside of 100 yards I flat out stink. I'm not going to use the "Y" word, but it's close. I watched this video today, switched to my old Vokey....and it's like a light went off. We are cured! at least for now...

ForeLeft Its a great Donald ross design that has undergone lots of change in recent years. With the grain it is pretty tough to putt on the greens. Most uphill putts always seem to be into the grain and downhill end up being down grain and unstoppable in some cases. Overall great test of golf. Well, I have to say I blame @maxbianchi on this one. I have been absolutely murdering the ball since switching to an X flex this season. Playing extremely well. Hole 2 tonight, stipe one down the middle... think nothing of it. Hit it to a foot, tap in bird. Let's Go. Hole 3 is a short par 4...just the Sexwood off the tee. Hole 4 is a par 3. Get to hole 5, a short par 5. Take the driver out of the bag and tap it on ground like a normally do...and hear a very weird rattle. I think the epoxy has failed. Face Palm. Pulled out 3 wood and still got home in 2, made bird to go 2 down. Went on to par out and shoot a bogey free 34 (-2) but a club breaking is never fun. Decided to reach out to a pro friend of mine, and he's going to hook me up with PUD. Going to copy @DaHOF a little but with a twist (make my own triple diamond in a way). Mavrik SZ 9º (will likely turn down) Graphite Design AD XC 6x Two 8 gram weights (instead fo the standard 14g and 2g). Stay Tuned...I guess?

Well, after the PGA discussion and what might be the greatest quote of all time...”faders eat fillets”...I decided to put it to the test tonight. The driver has also been flying mighty low, so I upped her 1° to 10° which is a HUGE change from the 7° my G410 LST was at before that broke.

I can honestly say I haven’t hit the ball this well in a long time. I’ve been fighting a big old hook as of late, and tonight was a sick little 2 yard cut. My flight was higher, ball flight was more eye appealing, and was throwing darts. it helps that the spider made EVERYTHING too.

Ball flight was MUCH better with the loft change on the driver, but I’m still excited for the new shaft on order that I can go after a little more.

Nice little 32 tonight! Time to get some practice in during the next month or so before Club Championship begins.

ForeLeft I hit up on the ball a ton similar to you (+4-5). Despite this I seem to drive it much better with a driver in the 10 degree range rather then lower 7-9. Misses are much better and apex doesnt vary as much as one would think.

@ForeLeft I was fighting the same things with driver as you are and the TZ6 has been amazing eliminating the left side ( as a righty) hitting high fades.

Also I may be biased as I just picked up a set but add the T100’s to your list if you haven’t tried them yet

So we essentially had tornadoes going on last night. And about to happen again today.

I live 2 minutes from the course (and in November we will be moved into our house on the course)...dangerous when you work form home. lol.

I took my 15 minute break to jet over there and hit a couple balls on the range. I had a half bag of balls in my trunk, and brought the newly assembled D stick.

The waggle test is approved. I love the weight of it. it just feels right. I'm not great with words when it comes to describing how a shaft feels, but I can tell when I like it. And this feels good!

First ball was laced out there, a nice 2 yard cut at my preferred launch and trajectory. Much better than the AD XC I had...

All 10 balls I hit were great....and then the lighting started (and my break was over) so I had to scoot back.

Can't wait to get more testing in on this, and see how it performs on the course!

The Tensei AV RAW orange has been pheoneomal. Have a couple more rounds in. My last round had a nice -4.

My season is pretty much done. We are full bore on our house, and I have a lot to do before moving in in November. Siding, Blow In insulation (attic), Flooring, Tilling, Cabinets, Painting, Trim.

After we close on our house, I'm going to be placing some orders to dial in my bag for 2021.

I plan to swap out the woods to match my Mavrik...and get Tensei AV Raw White... (however the new MMT Proto is TEMPTING).

Still debating wedges right now....Artisan has confirmed no lefty wedges for a WHILE. No JP Wedges lefty.

titleistforged will let your know! Going to be awhile. Has to order the heads from Japan (60-90 days) and then hand grind them. I won’t be seeing anything but snow for the next 6 months anyway so not like it matters 😂

I have a set of Corey Paul Wedges frombwfore he offered hand grinds and they were amazing, I may have to order a set with the right soles!

tinkerer I was really nervous to go with 105. As I am coming from 125S+ C tapers.

I’ve talked with 3 people who all said 125 Tx was too much, and to go 105. I guess we’ll see 🤷🏼‍♂️ Lol.

I did the switch from DG S300 to a 105g x-flex shaft in some MP-18s a year ago. It didn’t work out for me. However, I was a bit impatient too. I am infatuated with equipment like most on here, but always tend to prefer what I had versus what I just bought new.
