If you hit a fairway and land in a divot, why the hell are you punished because for it and forced to play it where it lies?

Divot is not part of the course design. And if you hit a fairway, you deserve a clean lie, so why can’t a player drop within one club length?

I understand footprints and fried eggs in bunkers...as that's a "hazard" but fairways are a whole nother issue. I'm completely with Eddie on this one! But in all fairness, What's a fairway? Fore Left!

I don't have a problem with Divots being treated the way they are right now. I kinda like the " rub of the green"-aspect of golf.
