Eddie so the process (roughly) was:
measured the “body of the bag” at 35” tall x 25” wide - then cut the material
sewed ball pocket on while bag was still laying flat
”rolled” top by tucking some rope into it and folding it over on itself, then stitching it
Used cut leather lace to connect the bag vertically, giving it shape
I used a carbon fiber rod approximately 32” long (archery arrow to be exact lol) to run down the spine of the bag, on the inside of the lace stitching. This gave the bag structure to stand up
then cut a 7.5” wooden plate to go on bottom, wrapped it in leather, and slid it into the bottom opening. Then used really deep tacks to attach it every inch around the bottom
there was 50 more steps, and some trial/error - but that gives you an idea!
