I went from a MacKenzie to an SL2 this spring. Was getting bored of no stand and wanted a bag with my club's logo on it. I liked the SL2's size compared to the Mac at first. After a few months of use both walking and riding, it is only an okay bag. The material of the bag is not great, and gets dirty very easily. Another issue with the bag is the pockets. When I got the bag, the pockets were very tight and I figured they would loosen up a bit with use but they have not. They still almost have no give to them. The double strap feature is nice, but mine squeaks when carrying it and is very annoying. I feel that the SL2 is 100% a cart bag and the SL1 is a walking bag (Had 3 friends get the SL1 after I got the SL2 and I regret not getting the SL1). If you have multiple bags and just want to spice it up then pick one up. I found myself going back to one of my Mac's to walk and bc fall golf = shit weather, I went back to my collegiate ping hoofer for pocket space. Also no comparison at all to the linksmaster, they are not even in the same ballpark. Linksmaster is way nicer and I don't even have one. I'll be eyeing up one of those or a Shapland this offseason.
That 20% might be all they do this year. Given the supply chain issues the entire golf industry is facing, some brands don't have the stock levels or regular volume to offer crazy discounts come the holiday season. Especially newer products like the SL2.
