I play a TSi3 20* and a U500 3/4i with a GD AD-UT 85 in it. (3i shaft and length in a 4i head.) IMO the new U505 is a bit horsey looking, albeit not as much so as the U510. I use the U500 off the tee and the fairway. Really like it. The TSi3 I mostly use off the fairway and from rough. Off the tee, I have always tended to hook hybrids, but find I hook the TSi3 less (set to A1 position), on the rare occasions I use it from the tee. The reason I went to the U500 WAS for a club in that range I could use off the tee without hooking it. And, for that purpose it has been great. Yet, more importantly, it turned out to be a great iron off the fairway for me, too. I hit it as consistently well off the deck as my T200 5i.
If I have any complaint with the U500, it might be that I tend to hit it a touch higher than I would like to. It plays for me more like a hybrid with high launch and softer landings, as opposed to a normal 3 or 4 iron trajectory. But, that's me. Ideally, something with more rollout off the tee would be best. The U505 is a combination of the U500 and U510, both of which are designed for a higher launch. So, the T200 4i with a lower launching shaft may be ideal for you. Or, consider putting a 3 iron shaft in it as I did. Just a thought.
