Who's a member? What have you grabbed from the drops? is it worth it? Contemplating becoming a member, as I've been on the hunt for some hats, shirts, and covers...but they Never get released to public because they all get sold out to the collective. LOL. Are you happy with your membership? Would love to hear your thoughts. I think ZB is great with the merch game.

I’m a member. The swag makes up for the cost. If you want the merch it is worth it. Been waiting for the Slow Players scorecard holder to drop and got it when they released it. Realized I’m not a hypebeast guy and regretted it. Got lucky selling it on eBay and recouped most of my money back. Also got in on the sneakerhead preorder but that will be a gift for my brother.

ckay I just got one of the scorecard holders on eBay. Should be delivered today, but I'm already at the lake. The slow play is really growing on me. I wasn't about it at the start, but now I realize how much it bothers me, I want the gear. lol. Seems like all the apparel he drops is always good, and most of the hats to. He has a knack for designing cool stuff. I might sign up soon!

I'm a collective member and I think its great if you want to buy TBC stuff at retail. It's crazy how much some of the stuff sells for on ebay. You get an hour or two headstart but even with that you have to be on point for the drop.

Same. Access was good until memberships were reopened. Tougher to get stuff now. But still earlier access.

It’s $150. You’re going to spend that on something stupid this year anyhow. It is plenty worth it.

To me it's worth it. I always need Mallet covers and it's the only way I have a chance to ever snag one. Joined 4 months ago and still haven't seen the welcome kit.

bigjohntripod pre-orders on TBC are usually open to the public (the jordan joint was). They might have exclusive Collective pre-orders but since I'm not in the Collective I wouldn't know....lol

Timmynole This is the first year. I received a Seamus waxed canvas driver cover with TBC logos on it, a branded Yeti, and a towel. All quality pieces, no junk promo goods. I signed up for the gifts. Not much of a hype beast accessories guy but like to have the opportunity to buy something if I like it before it sells out.

Collective had a few member on releases like the Masters coverall wood cover and the let’s white fuzzy cover. The problem is that if you aren’t a collection member then most cool covers will be gone by public release. It will remind you of the Scotty membership. Great items in the kit in my opinion. They’re probably losing money on the items itself at that price point.

At wholesale and bulk buy, they’re probably still making a little bit, but assuming it’s more of the pay for play option like Costco. Creates an allure of people tied to the brand, which I think is great. It’s still mind boggling to think of the cult of people (including me) he has following this course that doesn’t even exist yet. Very good marketing, Merch, and brand overall.

I'm pretty intrigued to join the collective but fairly bummed that it will take 3+ months to ship the welcome kit. Not sure that I would buy a ton of merch so the welcome kit is pretty high on the value list. Can anyone sway me either way?

CLTGamecock I believe they just got a bunch in (they were waiting on a mass delivery, that was delayed d/t Covid). I believe he posted something on the gram the other day that said it's more like 2-3 weeks now.
