I felt fullswing golf (Full Swing Kit) was going to be king of the castle in this space, but they have been radio silent since last November....Foresight has scrubbed the Gc2 from their site and this looks to be the next generation personal launch monitor. I'm guessing anywhere from $2.5-5k. It appears Bushnell will be selling it; just using Foresight's name and technology to boost the reputation. Getting excited for this! PureStickGolf funny you said that, as that’s what it’s actually being marketed at internationally. Launch pro in the US, But GC3 everywhere else. I’ve been following this very closely as I will be getting one. Here is what the rumors are now based on talks with sales reps. I think the breakdown of the international unit is more like this (all in USD): Base Unit: $3,000 FSX software (forced to purchase it on the international version).....$2,750 One dot club data:$1,500 Total: $7,250 USD (which equals the estimated price of the international version converted from CAD) For those wondering what the one dot data is, image attached.

For folks that bought this. Why this vs the Full Swing Kit? For the indoor use?

brushie for me it’s camera based. I don’t need 7-10 feet or whatever it is to put behind me.

also, the kit was supposed to release last spring. But they have been RADIO silent since. Took preorder money and ran. The lack of communication was a huge turn off for me, and the reason I switched (on top of foresights history, camera based, and space as well).

So I’m hearing mainly because you guys are using indoors, which I get. I don’t trust trackman spin numbers indoors. I didn’t follow Full Seing until recently, so don’t know much about the problems they had with the preorders. A friend just got one and we tried it outdoors. Seems like a really nice product. Debating eventually getting one of these and I just don’t know which. I don’t want to have to put dots on my clubs just to get certain data. And being in SoCal, I don’t have to limit myself to being indoors much of the year. So a lot of back and forth in my head going on.

brushie I can honestly say I don’t know much about The Full Swing kit. I know Tiger is the face or whatever. I know when I started to read things the first thing I saw was the massive delays and issues so I kind of just stopped. But again for me it comes down to space and ease of use. I’ve always thought even with the quad just dropping the thing right next to you and being able to start hitting balls was a nice feature. Then you get into the companies of Bushnell/Foresight vs a brand new brand.

For me the full swing kit was just never an option. Neither was the Mevo, Mevo +, Bushnell, and the thought of buying a Trackman was def never a thought.

CLUB DATA

Club Path – 11 out of the 24 shots recorded showed the path going in the opposite direction. Granted, the opposite direction pattern wasn’t a massive distance off but if you were working on your in-to-out path or vice versa, you could be getting wrong readouts.
Face to Path – Like the club path metric, we saw the same opposite direction occur. However, 14 out of the 65 shots recorded over pitching wedge, 7-iron and driver were in the opposite direction. We saw the highest number of shots that were off within the driver data set.

Spin Axis – Within the ball data arena, this was the most alarming metric in my eyes. Twenty-nine out of the 65 shots recorded from PW, 7-iron and driver showed the opposite direction of spin axis. Some of the biggest differences were upwards of 15 degrees compared to the GC Quad.

Not a great first impression for the KIT, IMO

ForeLeft Why isn't it a comparison of the Bushnell launch pro? Seems kind of apples to oranges comparing a 11k unit to a 4k unit.

iennis because the quad is the gold standard, thus it being the "control." And they've already done a test of the quad Vs. BLP/Gc3 essentially saying it's the same exact unit, just doesn't display as many of the data points, hence the immense cost savings.

ForeLeft Gotcha didn't realize they had done a review on the GC3 yet. I personally think foresight makes far superior tracking to any other out there.
