Introduction: Longtime golfer, I am an 6-8 player and generally looking for a good looking iron with some punch. Before the 790's I played Mizuno JPX 850's and liked them because they had the punch I needed. I'm not long and now the longest iron I carry is a six. I moved to the 770's because of the review and comparison to the 790's. The fall off in distance between the 7 and 8. That was entirely accurate and I thought I was the only one that noticed it. After reading the review, I went for the 770's because of that observation alone. I thought the comparison was right on, but that one thing made the whole review authentic! Thanks. Now I'm a discusser in good standing!

The only small issue i have with the p770 is that i bought 3 sets of them and all 3 sets have different top line. I think its the production issue but the top line is thicker with the later productions.
