I am talking about greens fees plus cart and/or caddie. Fortunately I have been able to get onto a lot of great courses because of tournaments or because the member pays for me. My most expensive round is probably any of the Bandon courses plus caddie.

I think it was around 300 for TPC Scottsdale. Boy was that a waste lol. Butler National was a Close second. $250 I think?

The US dollar was flexing hard two years ago, so I pre-paid the entire Cabot trip I took when I turned 40. It was $265 CAD for rounds at Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs, which worked out to $193.45 thanks to the strong greenback. Went with the "B" class caddies for $50 CAD + a $40 tip ($65.70). All in, it worked out to $259.15 freedom dollars per round. 100% worth it too. Cabot Links Cabot Cliffs

dphatt Sydney, NS is the closest "major" airport and then it's a two hour drive from there.

Most I've spent on a round was Whistling Straits. Iirc, it was $350 plus another $100 for my caddie. Worth every penny.

dphatt I flew into Halifax (JAX-PHL-YHZ) and it was a 3.5 hour drive from there. Cabot will pick you up in a Sprinter van but having a rental car isn't a bad idea because the Glenora distillery is a short drive from the resort that's a great place to tour and eat one night.

Luckily my Pebble Beach round was covered by a bet I won when I did my Ironman back in 2018 or else that would have taken the cake. I can't remember what my Pinehurst #2 round cost with a caddie but it was up there....especially since we stayed in the Carolina for the night. Bandon trip next year will likely have some pricey rounds as well.....

Torrey? Two days in a row. Maybe $350 a day? So $700? That fucking sucked. Great time with the boys, but the dollars, I don’t spend that much to play golf. That’s a lotta tinker club money.

bigjohntripod and it is a real kick in the nuts when you see the locals are only paying like $50. But staying at the Hilton and walking over is about the most perfect golf day ever.

I'm guessing my most is $400-500. I'm debating if I should play Plantation in Kapalua at $359 for the round ( I play it every time we go out that way but not sure if I will do it this go around). I can get out at Riv at any time, but the overall cost with all that it involves (without involving a guest) puts the green fees at $700+ which seems crazy to me. Amazing what we pay to hit a white ball around a grass path for four hours.

ForeLeft oh wow 300 for scottsdale. I went in August once and paid something way less, and even then I felt it wasn't worth it haha.

I'm still new to "premium" golf courses. Probably Spyglass so far is my most expensive.

Have played the Ocean Course a few times for $374 plus caddie so like $500-520ish. Done it 3 times so keep telling myself I don't need to do it again but time will tell.

Pinehurst No 2 also up there but was part of the hotel cost so not sure of the breakdown. Whatever it is, I'd pay more.

I can’t remember what I paid for Kapalua in 2009, but Shadow Creek, Old Course, Kiawah and Pinehurst are probably the tops, but all part of a package so no idea why the individual round cost.
