With Phil’s win I started looking into the brand of hat he is wearing. Does anyone have any experience with this brand? $59 is pretty steep

Order one of the Americana hats. $59 is ridiculous, but if it sheds sweat better than the 100 other hats I have it might be worth it.

Not too far off from what I pay for my hats but for me they are a little plain for the cost.

Here's a mini-review of the Melin. I got the A-GAME SEAL AMERICANA HYDRO. I ordered it the Friday before Memorial Day and it showed up in NJ from CA 8 calendar days later. They offer free shipping for order >$75 so I paid for shipping and got the new customer 10% off.

Wore the hat today for 9 holes in the evening. It was hot and humid- 85*. The hat is heavier weight-wise compared to other mesh trucker hat styles that I own. It is also very stiff in the brim and crown. It also has a lining on the inside of the crown they call a besom pocket which I stuck a dollar bill in to see if it got wet from sweat.

The verdict from me is that hat is not worth the money and doesn't seem to be any better than the normal hats we all wear. I sweated through the crown just like other hats and the dollar bill was damp when I took it out.Here are a couple pics pre and psot-round.

TFixer5 I tried to get in touch with them to see if they would do wholesale and I have not heard back from them. That’s good to see they aren’t worth the money. You should try and return it since they have a return policy.
