Looking for some input from the more experienced and knowledgeable members here. I know this putter has been refinished but is there anyway to tell if this in fact is a real CT that has been refinished outside the Scotty shop
Doesn’t look real to me. Engravings look off and there is zero evidence left of any milling aside from the faint milling of the face. But it’s been a long time since I’ve seen that era of CT.
I think it may be real, but bead blasted and not refinished by the custom shop.
Whoever painted it did terrible
ForeLeft I thought the paintfill looked pretty clean unless I’m missing something 😅
I think it's the engravings that make it look kinda sus
if im paying ct money it damn well better have been through scottys shop and with a coa
IToldAlthea honestly on most CT’s COA’s are pretty worthless. Sure it helps give someone a warm and fuzzy feeling about purchasing but in the end if you know what you’re looking at... it’s not needed and doesn’t add value.
Thats the main marking I’m always looking for to say it’s authentic. So I’ll say it’s def authentic but no doubt has had pretty half assed aftermarket finish done to it. I wouldn’t touch it but that’s just me.
I believe this is real, but like people have said, refinished by a 3rd party. Unfortunately, with the new rules at the customer shop, they won't work on it to restore it either.
Thanks for all the info, if anyone has a face balanced CT they’re looking to unload let me know!
