DennisMTZ I went to Florida with it and it was fine. It’s not too big or too small and I was able to throw in a lot of extras into my club glove without going overweight which was a first for me.
dphatt Nice, do you put the stiff arm in the top or middle divide? I was thinking about putting my woods in the middle divide along with putter and stiff arm and my irons and wedges in the top divide, nothing in the bottom divide for a cushion.
How is this even a question?
Jaybananapantsarthur wasn’t sure if it traveled nicely or not
DennisMTZ I have the white version and it's traveled like a champ!
My LM travels great in my club glove with room for extras.
DennisMTZ funny you mention a stiff arm as I have never owned one. I know one day it will come back to haunt me. I have always taken my heads off of the shafts and either stored them in the golf bag or put them in my luggage. I have always kept my wood shafts at the top but I wrap them with an extra towel. I have thought about moving the shafts to the middle but with how TSA likes to mess with stuff now I would rather keep them up top so the iron heads don’t hit the shaft. Ever since TSA decided to ding my 009 on a domestic flight under 2 hours I have decided to not travel with things I cherish. I purchased a TSA lock 2-3 years ago and so far it has prevented the TSA from going into my golf bag. Maybe it’s more effort for them to use a key so they just by pass my bag. The other thing I recommend doing is making sure you have the zippers at the bottom when you close the club glove. This prevents anyone from quickly zipping from the top and taking a club. I have never had this happen to me but the logic makes sense.
DennisMTZ I have traveled for years without a stiff arm. I pull the heads off and put them in my carryon wrapped in clothing. Wood shafts go adaptor down and a couple of towels to provide additonal padding and then the rainhood to keep it all together. I bought a stiff arm a couple of years ago and traveled with it a few times as well. I would say it isn't necessary if you secure your clubs well with towels within a rainhood.

Lucky you. When I had the TSA lock on my bag they just bent it off and mixed around all my clubs.
@DennisMTZ Definitely spring for the Stiff Arm but also do what @dphatt said and take your club heads off and flip the shafts grip side up. Extra towels is also a pro move.
Ok thank you guys. I traveled with my other bags all the time and used a stiff arm with wood heads still on and have never had a problem. I will try to keep them closely together with towels under the rain cover.
I pack the bag kinda like this when I travel. Including a stiff arm, towels, and then rain cover (not my picture)
OffTheDole I definitely use a stiff arm. I actually had to buy a new one last time I flew down to palm beach because it had shattered upon arrival. Clubs were safe still! I have a pic of it a few flights before I have to show.....
Not to go too far off topic here but was always curious when you ship with Ship Sticks do they open your golf bag and rifle through your shit or is that only when you check it on a flight?
My clubs were fine but it was scary. Did it job.
DennisMTZ Wow! They really jacked up your Stiff Arm.
Still, it's better that it sacrificed itself and not one of your clubs.
OffTheDole i agree. I sent the picture to club glove and they loved it.
@DennisMTZ see you there!!
jordanbost send me a message and ill text you and we can meet up at Seminole!
Did a dry run of how to fit everything in the lm bag. I placed the woods and hybrid heads in their head covers and put them in the big side zipper. I’m also putting my shoes inside the club glove bag on that side for added cushion. Everything fits well, than you dphatt on the added help discussing. Obviously adding the rain cover before i fly out.
DennisMTZ I wouldn’t put the heads in your side pockets. Pack them in a carry on back pack.
TB3GOLF do they ask to look in your bag when they see these? I may put them with my clothes in a carry on
