Who's done it? What do you think?
A couple of years ago, I was a member at an indoor training facility that had 5 trackman, an indoor chipping green, putting green with SAM putt lab, and weight room. I spent A LOT of time doing the trackman combine, as iron play is where I need to improve. My wedge play is phenomenal, and Driver is hit or miss.
The only downfall to doing it indoors, is my irons usually travel a little shorter than normal, so I found different ways to hit "80%" swings with one more club (which in all reality are more like 97% swings. lol.) I got really dialed into my wedges both with distance control and accuracy. Not suprislying...that summer was the best golf I've ever played.
My biggest pet peeve is it never read Angle of Attack on my driver. My AOA is around +7...so that really adds distance and spin reduction Vs. a 0...which is what it assumes when it doesn't read. So the driver was always off...and I used 3 wood a lot in the combine.
My best score was a 80.8 which is a +2 handicap. Tour numbers! If only....
Here's a fun little article about how it's trickling into the High School Realm. I've read and heard that many a schools (college) use the combine as a standardized test of sorts (ACT/SAT for golf) and ask this during the recruitment process and or weekly qualifying to see who's playing the best.

I'm a huge believer in it, and hope to get a personal TM one day to give my kids the opportunity to hone in their game year round here in Minnesota...
