Traditionalist here for the most part. But, I can be flexible around the range and chipping areas. Tapered leg joggers are fine with me there. I even rock them myself sometimes in that practice setting, and I am well past the theoretical age cutoff. I also wear them for power-walking and jogging. Most of mine are Adidas and are not quite as short or tight at the ankles as Sergio's above, but definitely tapered, with zippers at the ankles.
Not that anyone asked, but since we're having this discussion, jeans are disappointing to me anywhere, at any time of year, on any nicer golf property, unless you are on the greens-keeping crew.
Also, I'm a shirt tucker on the course. Have been for 40 years. Untucked on others doesn't bother me though, as long as it's not a t-shirt.
Finally, I don't mind seeing hats on inside the clubhouse. Hat-Head is not a good look on some after a humid 90* round.
I expect the T&C crowd won't see things like I do. As a baby boomer, I am painfully aware I am in the minority here.
