Broadway at the Beach and The Dollhouse are all I remember about my last trip to Myrtle.

I've played my fair share down there but haven't done a package. I personally don't get the hype for myrtle beach golf.

mljones99 probably why I don’t remember the names of any of the golf courses I played while there. It was only a few years ago too.

ckay I only go to Myrtle Beach for the kids. They love broadway at the beach and all the themed restaurants and crap. Only golf related thing I do in Myrtle Beach is go to the PGA Superstore because we don't have one in Charlotte.

mljones99 my first trip to MB was with my family like 15 years ago. We got rained out one day and checked out PGASS. Never been to one until that point. If I recall correctly they had a bunker inside to test wedges. It was mind blowing to me.

Great place when you are in your mid 20’s. Used to go every year. Just grew out of it.

Caledonia and True Blue. Stay south of Myrtle Beach in Pawleys Island.

I’ve been a ton. Not a big fan of the packages personally, the course selection becomes quite narrow based on the partnerships, but then again it does make planning easy. We switched our annual trip to “a la carte” a few years back now that we know which courses we like and what area to party in. Put it this way, aside from being packed into a small villa with your buddies, a couple free beers and a boxed lunch, you aren’t getting much of a discount, there are tons of deals 24/7. As for golf, Pawleys island definitely has the higher rated courses but it’s about a 40 min drive from Myrtle. We like to stay in south Myrtle for the bars and beach time, and Thee Dollhouse is a must lol. I have an 8 man trip planned at the end of April.

I’ve played most of the courses down there. Golf and Seafood Buffets are about all Myrtle is good for. A couple reviews below. I would stay away from the packages and just go where you want.

Barefoot Landing-
Dye- Great Track with all the Typical Dye layouts and waste bunkers
Love- hidden gem to me. Really cool old brick building around a couple greens.
Fazio- Great layout and kick you in the face Fazio hard. Forced carries and plenty of trouble

Tidewater-
One of my favorites down there. Some great holes on the Marsh and can play tough with the wind.

TPC Myrtle- Depends on when you catch it. Just ok. Par 3 are about all I remember and they were really good. Rest was just ok.

Dunes-
Private. Def worth playing if you can get on. Great RTJ track and excellent condition.

True Blue-
Talked up to be a great one but I wasn’t impressed. A few memorable holes but plenty to forget as well.

Glen Dornach-
Best value down there. Fun course with cool old trees and a great layout. Can play it for $65.

I’ve also played Witch, Wizard, Prystwck, Legends, Something by Arnold Palmer, and a few more that I can even remember the name of. None of these are that great.
