Heavy Wedge Heads

Hey guys,
Does anyone know where to possibly secure a wedge head that comes heavy as stock? Needing around 320g weight in the 58* and everything stock usually comes out to 300-305 max. Any help would be appreciated. (Obvious option is custom like NCW or Artisan, but looking for more OTR). Thanks.

TheEquipmentJunkie My opinion is to go the NCW or Artisan route.

I plan on getting fit and getting a full set of artisan's as soon as they release lefty's. Nothing like having everything that's 100% made for you. I find grind to the the most important and both MT and DW know what they are doing when it comes to grinding.

TheEquipmentJunkie 320 is very heavy. I am pretty sure no OEM would offer that. They only way OEMs get heads heavy is with a slug. Tourspec did offer raw wedges at one point that needed to be milled to shape and grind. Those were extremely heavy and you needed to be able to know how to use a grind wheel to shape the head.

If you dont want to go the custom grind route you could have someone weld a bead along the back.

Failing that if athsetics are important you could look into component market to hand sort one

dphatt I know and figured that. Fortunate to know a little about grinding but not about to take on a crazy proj like that.

This is a raw Fourteen wedge that was made for tour. These came out heavy as the soles needed to be ground down to the shape that the player desired.

Roland I have tons of lead tape
on them, just can’t see the stamps which sucks. I think I’ll end up going the Artisan route eventually, but I am considering the welding route as well.
