In my mind, there are tournaments and then there is the Masters. I'd love to hear y'alls Masters stories.
I'm fortunate enough to say my first ever golf tournament I ever witnessed was the 2019 draw. I got a job working in Berckman's Place (if any of you were at Ike's and received a plate in the morning from a tall lanky blonde guy that was me!). I was in Augusta on property for 11 days. While it was full of long days on my feet and requests of all sorts from patrons (of course handled with a smile) I had a ball. I hope to one day make it back to that magical place.
My moment I will never forget is on Saturday. Every other day during tournament play the Berckman's employees got to get off early at 3:30 pm and go out on the property to watch tournament play. Of course me and my friends would immediately go find Big Cat. We catch him on 10 and then after he taps in par we book it over to get to amen corner bleachers. We were walking on the right side of the fairway a good amount of room out and all the sudden someone yells "WATCH!!!" and bang a golf ball lands about 6 inches from my left ankle. My buddy yells "that's tigers shot!" and all the sudden a massive crowd starts bum rushing us. We stood our ground and ended up about 8 feet from tiger. Hearing him and Joe go through their pre-shot routine was beyond cool. Then he sticks it on the green from way right and finishes with a par. I have goosebumps still from this moment.

If you click on this link and then hit R3 hole 11 you'll see my buddy who yelled "that's tigers shot" in the bottom right corner in the red USC gamecocks polo and white hat. I am to his left so unfortunately cut out of this shot.
