Wearing brands that you don’t use?

What’s your opinion on wearing brands on your hat or apparel that you don’t have in the bag?

IE I have a good amount of Scotty Cameron apparel but I use a SpiderX

I’m fine with it.

I’m one of those guys who wears items from courses that I’ve never played. Usually that gets frowned upon.

If it looks good, I wear it.

I’ve never been to the Masters, doesn’t stop me from rocking my hat.

I don't think anything of it. Unless you have some sort of gear sponsorship, if you like it you should wear it. I like Callaway's Swing Tech stuff if I need an extra layer and I've never once swung a Callaway club on the course. I'm a complete mental midget when it comes to swinging with layers on, so I'll wear anything that lets me swing freely.

I just wear what's clean. Could be a Nike Shirt, UA pants, a Titleist hat, and G4 golf shoes.

Doesn't bother me. I wear what I like. Nobody's paying me to wear anything, so if I'm paying for it, or someone gifts something to me, I'll wear it.

I've gotten to where I try to avoid wearing anything that displays the brand heavily. Since I ain't getting paid I don't want to advertise. Most of my hats and visors are courses, SSC, NLU, or TGJ. Shirts and pullovers are realtively plain or Bama (where I went to grad school), UK (grew up a UK fan), WKU (undergrad), or courses. Only course I rock that I haven't played is my boss got me a pull over from the Old Course.

Now, I definitely don't abide by the one logo rule.

Truthfully I don't even notice it unless someone is blaring something specific like a putter brand and is using something different. The older I get the less I want large obnoxious logos, of course unless its a Tees and Coins logo and then the larger the better!

Not a fan of logos that aren’t clubs or smaller brands (NLU, Sugarloaf, @tourvisor on IG).

I try not to be a logo whore but I’ve got a club smathers belt that I can’t NOT wear so I’ll often be rocking 3 logos (belt, shirt, hat) so yes I am likely that guy

Wear 95% Nike, Jones golf bag, mixed variety of clubs

Never really wear a golf-specific brand, perhaps the occasional Titleist hat

Wont catch me dead in a Callaway polo for example. If I play a higher end course (Oak Tree National last summer for example); I’ll buy a 1/4 zip or something with a small sleeve logo
