First ever bag. Went with the most forgiving possible clubs I could find. Working well so far!

Every club is used, got them on either facebook buy/sell groups or 2ndswing.

Stitch SL-1 bag with Sugarloaf Social Club towel

I could never hit a driver well so for now I am running a lower lofted 3w in the PING G Stretch to use for tee shots. Has a PING tour shaft and Golf Pride dual compound grips. Eventually this year I'll add a driver (Looking at TaylorMade M5)

Next, PING G30 4 hybrid with a PING GFC 419 shaft and stock grip that ill eventually change to Golf Pride dual compound

My irons are Mizuno JPX919 Hot Metal 4-GW with KBS C-Taper shafts and Golf Pride dual compound grips

For wedges I have the JPX919 gap wedge which is a 50 degree, then 2 SM7 Vokeys in 54.10 (bent to 55) and 60.08 degree. Sloppily hand stamped by yours truly

The 54 has a NS 950G S shaft

The 60 has a Tensei AV Red AM(2) shaft

Lastly my putter is a Scotty Cameron Studio Design 1.5 I bought cheap brought back to life. Bought the head cover on eBay and it turned out being a fake (live and learn) but I am going to use that until I get one from the club I'm interning with this summer

I really enjoy this bag, thinking about playability and value, looking forward to seeing how your bag and game progresses.

If I could offer one suggestion, it would be looking at the shaft in your lob wedge, that plays pretty light, and where most of the clubs in your bag could be used as is indefinitely without any effect to your game, getting really used to playing a light shaft lob wedge could, could ingrain some feels in your pitching motions that might be hard to break later.

As I type this, I realize I am putting you on a slippery slope of club OCD and specs...haha.

Eddie this is good to know. Next to my 3 wood for tee shots I’d say this is my most used club. I know very limited info re: shafts and all these are what came on them when I bought them used on 2nd swing. Do you have a recommendation? Thanks so much

Much like your gap and sand wedges have matching shafts, possibly matching the lob wedge up to that might do the trick.

The shaft that you have in your lob wedge is about 60grams, depending on the flex.

the ns pro 950s in your other wedges are just under a 100 I believe,

and your iron shaft are in the 120g range.

Added a driver. Taylormade M3 with a Tensei CK Blue 60 stiff shaft

IToldAlthea good move on getting a driver, one of the things don and I always say on the first tee is, always start with the club with the biggest face and “forgiveness”

Eddie We were at a 330y par 4. Widest fairway on the course. Guy has a 5 iron in his hand. I don’t know the dude but had some good banter with him up until that point.

“Dude, the fairway is as wide as the hole is long, what are you doing?”

”Just trying get in a good spot for a look at birdie.”

Proceeds to duff it into the crap in front of the box...the only possible place you could’ve lost a ball off the tee.

I don’t think he said another word to me the rest of the round.

ckay I read this and said wow 330 and dude pulls a 5iron. Must be loooooong. Then I realized he was laying up and I knew you already had the round won.

Been working quite a bit on my swing. Using my legs now, starting to sync up my lower body, but my downswing is still steeper than I want. Little by little!
