So everyone always complains about customer service, but Puma just blew it out of the water for me in terms of being awesome.
I recently purchased a pair of the Puma PWRADAPT caged shoes that were a limited edition version from one of the majors last year. I got them ON SALE during the holidays. Absolutely loved them and wore them for about 4-6 rounds. The other morning when I was tying them, the very top eyelet which goes through the plastic portion on the outside of the shoe broke through. It was disappointing to say the least, but I was able to simply unlace that set and wear them. After my round, I was still perturbed about it so I figured I would e-mail Puma's warranty department.
I received an e-mail back the SAME DAY from the warranty department. They took a look at my pictures and description and said they could exchange them but unfortunately they were out of the Limited Edition shoes I had ordered. They just released the new Pink/Palm tree version of the shoe for this weeks Sentry Open so I asked if I could get those (keep in mind, my pair were bought at a steep discount versus the current $170+ sale price). Guy said no problem, he would get them shipped out to me in the next 2 days. I asked who to send my broken shoes back to and he said "no worries, keep them or discard them if you would like."
Talk about an excellent outcome and all in less than 24 hours and an exchange of 2-3 e-mails. Kudos to Puma Golf.
