Still waiting on my 770s. By the time they arrive I won’t even want them any longer. They were a spontaneous purchase to begin with. Have a newer version of the Daytona with dual straps coming to replace the one I have now. No other planned equipment purchases. Playing an indoor league for the first time and it starts up in two weeks. Should be heading to Hilton Head and Savannah in May with my wife and daughter so definitely getting some rounds in.

I feel pretty good about my bag, but I've said that before. Putter is getting a new finish and I am going to put some new shafts in my wedges. I need to focus on playing the ball that is best for me instead of just whatever is laying around. I would like to cross some courses off of my bucket list and think that I may. I have standing invites to Prairie Dunes and Chechessee Creek Club, as well as plans in the works for Sweetens Cove and Payne's Valley. That would be a huge year for someone who has only played 2 top 100 courses in his life. I am also heading to Hilton Head with the family at the end of July. Golf wise, I need to get more routined. I went from a routine-driven college golfer, to a hack who plays for fun and now that I am starting to play in more tournaments, I need to get that focus and routine back.

Planning to order ZX7’s with Modus 130x next week. Also putting Hybrid in play, Sim with Diamana Thump. And then upgrade SM7 to SM8’s

see how they help, or not help but make the bag look good.

swing Change is also needed. -8 attack angle with irons and 3 wood so need to shallow a little towards -4.

Only thing I'm not feeling is my fairway woods so other than that I don't see any equipment change. My focus will be getting over to Pinehurst/Southern Pines as much as I can and play some quality golf.

I haven't had a range session in over two months, been trying my best to dedicate to working on the swing changes I've committed to.

A lot of the delta between range sessions and tournament golf has come down to aim. My aim gets weird on the course, and because it's easy to aim on a range mat, really working on training my eyes to see true correct lines.

Equipment wise, nothing is changing, except for SIM2. But SIM2 will have to be a hell of a lot better club than SIM1 for me to put it in the bag. Aesthetically, SIM1 is so perfect to my eye, especially the head I am using.

Well boys...I played a lot of golf last year. Roughly around 140 rounds. I think I can top that this year. I was supposed to go to Pebble with my dad who is turning 74 in February last July. I postponed that twice. We’ll try again this July.

Providing the vaccine allows us outsiders better access to private clubs...National Golf Links, Crystal Downs, Kingsley are all on the table this year.

I’ve begun to transition my left hand grip to a much stronger position. I played the best golf of my life last year but I can only get better (that’s why we are obsessed with this, haha.)

I may actually play in a tournament this year. We will see how inspired I get. But I will probably buy a new driver. I have the callaway in my sights. It looks good. We will see.

Oh. And my postponed wedding from 2020 is later this year. And you will never hear from me again....🤪🤪🤪

I was thinking maybe I should pick up a set of VR blades, VR limited woods, and a 52* engage wedge for old times' sake, but that might prove to be too costly... Nonetheless, I'll most likely be on the bay hunting these down before Spring comes around smh

I'm really looking forward to the new ZX7 line from Srixon (big surprise! lmao)! I'll definitely be keeping my Z785 driver head for the time being but will most likely replace my U85 and Z785 irons with this new release...

2020 was rough when it came to golf.
21.5 rounds over the year
9 of those rounds happening in 7 days
11 of those rounds were on the same 2 courses
1 putter over 9 months and counting

I'm going into 2021 with no real expectations except to stop worrying about scoring / handicap expectations and just be happy that I can play when I can. Keep up with the physical therapy and limit the pain while playing more and practicing less.

Side Goals: Find a set of new iron heads.
