That’s a tough one. Way easier to think of great courses with horrendous logos, because that list is never ending. Lol

ForeLeft we had that discussion as well. Plenty of those but we can leave that discussion for another day

Baltursol & Congressional are two that stick out off the top of my head.

TB3GOLF interesting you mention those two. Why do you say that? Also which Congo logo as they have two. I do agree with you on Congressional though. That course is boring and I am glad they blew it up.

Actually I have to say Burning Tree should top this list. It’s one of the best logos in golf but the course is meh. It’s more the history and exclusivity that make it cool.

dphatt blew it up is an understatement! Can’t wait to see it in person. I haven’t played it yet but I know you have. Same area, 🔥🌲. I’ve always heard very average course wise.

dphatt I like both logos for Congo. Very interested to see how the renovation looks in the near future.

Both courses at Baltursol are very mundane and have many of the same characteristics of one another. I’m a big believer in having variety between nines if you’re going to have more than eighteen holes.

Another one I just thought of. Streamsong. I dig the windmill, but the courses were overrated in my book. Maybe if they had better ownership/management and the experience changed, so would my thoughts on the courses. But to say I was underwhelmed is an understatement.

DaHOF all of them? I’ve never heard much of a good thing about Black but never had someone say they all aren’t very good. I haven’t been but it’s something I’ve def put on the list to eventually do.

Noyes26 They are average to me. People hype it up to be the Bandon Dunes of the South, but the reality is, when you take into account the courses and the location and facilities, it PALES in comparison to Bandon. I'm spoiled I'm sure because I go to Bandon almost every year. But, I expected MUCH more out of Streamsong. The courses were okay, but again, nothing that blew me away (any of them).

Geographical location is the difference. I think Streamsong is great when you think about the usual soft flat Florida Terrain. It's hard to put recreate a legend like Bandon but I'll take it. You certainly forget that you are in Florida.

Putterho I feel like I struck a nerve with the locals. 😆 I must say, not at one point did I ever forget I was in Florida. The humidity and bugs constantly reminded me.

Sorry to all that I was so harsh on Streamsong. Jk, not sorry. Still a mediocre course with a great logo in my book 😅

DaHOF See I'm the opposite. I haven't played there, but I HATE the logo. It looks like an attempt I would have made to draw a new Pokémon or something back in the day haha

Putterho I also don’t like the Bandon Dunes logo. Maybe because it has words in it. The Pacific Dunes and Old Mac (circle M)logos are terrible too. The only logo I like there is the Bandon Preserve one.

Putterho oh I agree. I hate the snake logo. I was strictly talking about the windmill logo. @dphatt agree, I don’t like Bandon’s puffer logo. However, give me the Ghost Tree and Preserve logo any day of the week!

dphatt I like the Puffer in general, can live with the Bandon Dunes logo and like the OM but I hate the Pacific Dune and the Preserve logos. Who knows why I like what I like and hate what I hate?

CLTGamecock Providence CC? I haven't had a chance to play there but have drove by several times when my buddy used to live in Longview. Whenever I see their logo I always think it is a different course. Not sure why.

If any of you guys for some reason are in the Laredo area, check out the Max (Max A. Mandel) Muni. It's right along the border, excelent layout, always in great shape. We go up every year with the high school for Border Olympics and that is a really fun course.
