so what's the difference between SIM and SIM MAX now that it looks like the sliding weight is gone

You can see that the weight is closer to the heel on the Max for more draw bias. Also the back weight is located further away from the face on the MAX which probably has a more triangular shape than the standard SIM2 in order to create more MOI. That is all just what is visible, who knows what the inside looks like.

The SIM2 line has hit the USGA conforming list so expect to see it in play at the Father & Son this weekend. I am sure Tiger and Charlie will be gaming it.

I hate that they made the crown closer to darker carbon, my SIM 1.0 is staying in the bag, well it will stay in the collection, of course I will get a sim 2.0.

ckay If that is the case, I may finally switch back to TM. I can't get over the sound of the driver and fairway woods on the Sim line. I never know if I'm hitting the ball good, it just sounds too muted for my liking.

DaHOF interesting you say that. I love the muted sound and that’s why i went with the Max over the reg SIM. The Mavrik is a lot more muted than the Epic Flash
